4:30 at the Hollywood Bowl

So meeting Ryan and Jeremy was just like everything else that has happened to me since I moved here to L.A., random. Anyone who knows me, knows I travel. You also know I have a dog, who is the equivalent of my child. Traveling with a pet is needless to say, difficult. Thus for the past 7 months of living here, traveling and constantly worrying about who will take in my little puggle was a bit of a mission. That is, until I met these boys.

Ryan & Jeremy are professional dog watchers.(Among many other things) Ryan is in a band that recently headlined @House of Blues on Sunset, and Jeremy is a screen writer fresh out of film school.  I came across them by chance and couldn’t have gotten anyone better suited to keep my mind at ease when I have to leave town.

Turns out they are also quite the adrenalin junkies. And by junkies I mean, they rock michael jackson-like gloves with plastic padding, and carve the streets of Hollywood at 30 MPH.

They allowed me the privilege of documenting this daily occurrence a few days ago @the hollywood bowl. I layed in the pavement, waited, shot, avoided being hit by more then one motor vehicle. It was an adventure for sure.

Check the gloves…

Pretty badass right?! Well I thought they were rad. So rad in fact that I challenged them to carve down the entire parking lot through a corridor of beautiful california palms. They agreed, smirking-ly. (Is that a word?)

Do you see the traffic? Because that street below is Highland @4pm. No need to say anything else. These guys were maniacs.
